It's been two months since we started our
classes and now, First Grading Period is finally over! We have just taken our
exam last Friday. I’ve been refelecting
a lot over how the quarter has gone and I must admit, I have mixed feelings. I
feel like there have been some successes to celebrate, but there are still some
glaring holes that need to be filled in.
In this grading period, I have learned a lot
of lessons and discovered many things. Lessons all about internet, the persons
behind its developement like some internet pioneers, architects, and of course
we had a lesson about blogging. Aside from the lessons that I learned and
discovered during discussions, I made new friends and learned new lessons in
life which helped me overcome the challenges that I have been through.
Honestly the first quarter is tough. I would
often study for hours and still feel like I missed something. It get easier but
never easy! Even though I may be excelling in many areas. I’ve also encountered
a lot of struggles and problems throughout this quarter. We are bombarded with
a lot of requirements in different subjects with the same deadIines. I’m lacking on many things and I am especially
bad with time management, finding motivation with school, and getting
frustrated too easily in group settings. Yes it is hard, but I need to succeed
and to be able to succeed, you have to be determined, to not give up and you
have to give all your best.
I was able to overcome these challenges and
problems by putting God first in whatever I do, asking my family and friends
advices and help. I have also set forth goals for myself that I plan on improving upon. I planned to get
better with time management, and on creating schedule for myself that outlines
the best times for when to do homework and how long I should spend on each
assignments. With God and having the people that motivates me, I overcome these
obstacles.
Be proud of yourself, you are taking steps to
give yourself a better future. Don’t sort change that. All goals come with work
and the first steps are tough. However, I am really confident as I approach my
second quarter. Because i know that there is God who is always there guiding me
in everything I do. Moving on, I will use those struggles as my inspiration and
motivation to keep on going. I learned so much, gained confidence, and made
friend along the way.
